CAC Help Employees get through Difficult Time amid Pandemics
CAC operation headquarter location-- Shanghai has been under Covid lockdown for over 2 months, affecting the lives of more than 25 million people, including all CAC employees who work in Shanghai. Lockdown, nucleic acid and working from home have become the new life. How to face the change? CAC management team highly cared about all members and calls on all staff to protect themselves, balance the relationship among the work, life and anti-pandemics activities.
Therefore, all CAC management members and bases took actions immediately, they carefully organized activities to make sure various pandemics prevention measures implemented and all the work operated orderly and smoothly. All people demonstrated their best efforts in the pandemics test.
The CAC management team held several emergency meetings to deliver the ideas that pandemic prevention and control was the most important task for all the people. From headquarter to manufacturing base, all the leaders executed the prevention plan and deployed the responsibilities of each man in charge. According to the pandemic prevention policy, in addition to the daily prevention measures, special emphasis from CAC is placed on employee safety and living material supply.
Actions from Manufacturing Bases
People in manufacturing bases were categorized as worker, office man and outsourcers, etc. and were implemented differentiated controlling policy. Each base has paid close attention to outsiders such as visitor and logistics man. Other actions such as sterilization work, health testing and vaccination were all applied to all people.
Meanwhile, management team strengthen the contact with local authorities and reduced the impact on production and sales.
Action from Purchasing Team
During the emergency, the purchasing team always took the stable raw material supply for production as the primary task. When the original channels are limited, the purchasing department actively expands more supply channels and deployment transportation vehicle to ensure the operation and production for each bases.
Action from Commercial Team
OBU and Global Marketing team overcome all difficulties to keep communication with customers in all-round way, including following up order confirmation, registration promoting, product delivery and business cooperation, they tried best to minimize negative impacts from pandemics. As for the teams towards to domestic market, they accurately connected with customers, logistic carrier and bases one by one to keep sales progress move in under such situation.
Action from R & D Team
The city-wide lockdown has affected field trials and lab test. To keep the experiment continue, three team members overcame all difficulties to live in office to maintain the machine and experimental target operation.
Action from Administrative Team
As the service group, administrative team organized many activities to support employee’s lockdown life. They purchase living material such as instant noodles, bread, fruits to solve food problem in early period. Meanwhile, for those colleagues who need help, administrative team tried their best to solve their problem. During this period, IT team also tries various way to set up remote office system to maintain company running.
